The Village Hall is the centre of village activities and a wonderful amenity, which includes a full-size snooker table. It is managed by a committee which does a sterling job, not just maintaining the fabric of the building but also improving it and keeping up to date with statutory requirements.

The hall can be hired for your parties or events; call the bookings clerk on 560229 for availability.  The bookings are organised by sessions: Morning - 9am-1pm, afternoon - 1pm-6pm, and evening, 6pm-11pm.

For ordinary events the fee is £12 per session for the main hall and £5 per session for the committee room.  Parties cost a little more at £25 per session for adults, children's parties are £15 per session.

Session fees include the use of the kitchen and it's contents, there is ample crockery, glassware and cutlery.  The kitchen is suitable for food warming and serving but not preparation.  Lights and the storage heating are included but anything 'plugged in' such as the wall heaters, the oven, music machines etc are on a £1 slot meter.  Tea towels are provided on a wash and return basis.
