How should the village
celebrate 60 years of the Queen's reign? The parish council will light
a beacon on Monday, June 4, along with communities throughout the
country, but ideas are sought for a suitable village event. Telephone
Janet Turner on 560354 if you would like to contribute to the thought
process. A meeting is to be held for village organisations on Friday,
February 24. See the January issue of the newsletter for further
details.
