South Milton Villagea small working village in the South Hams of Devon
|Business Directory||Weather & Tides|
South Milton WI meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. We are affiliated to the Devon Federation of Women’s Institutes and are able to take advantage of any events organised by them, as well as the items organised by our own group. Added to our monthly meetings are outings, and community events.
We also have two book groups and opportunities for members to meet women from other branches in our area for craft workshops.
We are always happy to welcome new members and we would be pleased to meet you if you would like to come along to a meeting to see if it’s right for you. Holiday visitors are also welcome.
Our Annual Supper was held on Thursday 23rd February at The White Hart Modbury. It was a most successful outing.
Members have been busy knitting squares to be made into cot blankets to send to refugee camps in Greece. Thanks to everyone who helped.
Our next meeting is on Thursday 18th May when Laurence and Saj Collyer will be Making Music with us.
