South Milton Neighbourhood Watch

The principal objectives of Neighbourhood Watch are to:

Reduce crime and opportunities for crime in the area
Improve the levels of communication between residents and the Police
Help residents learn how to protect themselves from possible criminal activity
Reassure those who live in fear of crime

Our local scheme has 10 Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators covering every area of the Village. Over 65% of all properties with permanent residents are in the scheme. This could be one reason why criminal activity has been very low for a number of years.

There is no cost to join. Communication is either by phone or e-mail.

Close liaison is maintained with the local Police.
